The Convento de Balsamão, belongs to the Marianos da Imaculada Conceição Congregation, it is located on a top of a Hill. It is a beautiful place such as the stars that we can observe from there.The restaurant allows us to sit on a table and travel to a world of flavours kept in time. All the surrounding space invites you to discover yourself and the silence and sounds, the shades and colours, the spaces and places of true contemplation. A place where nature and spirituality are in mutual dialogue that transports us to other worlds in such a simple way as if we opened a window.

The menu is essentially from Trás-os-Montes, with the cuisine provided by local products, which guarantees the best ingredients at each time of the year. In this space, the most diverse typical Trás-os-Montes delicacies are served, namely the “Transmontano” Cabrito, the excellent Veal Steak, as well as the best smoked meat in the region (alheira, sausage, ham and butelo).
