Because of the growing demand for olive that is one of the basis of healthy food, the artisanal olive oil production was ineffective to satisfy the high demand for this product. This way, new and upgraded industries appeared that allowed the increase of olive oil production satisfying the needs of the consumers. That is the reason why IPAN was created. IPAN is an industrialized olive oil production press, making exportation possible to take our olive products even further, produced in Geopark.

Olive oil is grown on land with orographic, geological and climatic particularities. Olive groves are produced on land at levels lower than 800m, in acidic or slightly acidic soils, preferably in clayey soils, which gives the soil good drainage and air circulation. The existing clayey soils (shales) are the result of rocks that were once formed on the banks of an ancient underwater continent, and which, due to the forces of nature, are currently emerging.
