The Company
Quinta da Serra is located in the municipality of Lagoa Nova, Seridó UGGp, on the Serra de Santana, a flat-topped mountain known for its arid vegetation and semi-arid climate, marked by a very rugged terrain, with elevations that reach more than 700 meters altitude. The cold and dry microclimate of the mountain region is ideal for our free-range birds, which live a peaceful and happy routine here, expressing their most primitive and natural behaviors, with the safety and care they need to produce delicious free-range eggs.
The Product
Quinta da Serra produces free-range eggs with respect for nature, taking advantage of the typical vegetation of the Caatinga, the only exclusively Brazilian biome, to provide nutrients for the healthy diet of the chickens. The climate of Serra de Santana, where production is located, is mild, with average temperatures ranging between 18°C and 26°C, lower than the average for the Seridó region, which is favored by the higher relief and provides environmental conditions ideal for egg production. The exclusive packaging was developed with a sustainable concept as it is recyclable and biodegradable.
