“Museu do Azeite” is a museum that focus on the production and valorization of the product, olive oil, and how to be creative in the use of it on new and innovative products. Although it has production, the company is also a museum that focuses on the secular ways of harvest and producing olive oil joined with the cultural importance that it had on the territory and in Portugal.
The product
The products include: a 250 ml bottle of olive oil, a high-quality product and the foundation of all other items produced at the Museu do Azeite, made from endogenous olives grown in the municipality of Oliveira do Hospital; a 500 ml can of olive oil, offering a more convenient and efficient way of using the product while preventing overconsumption; the Licor de Folha de Oliveira, a liqueur made from olive tree leaves, which ensures full use of the plant, promotes sustainability, and results in a premium product; and finally, powdered olive oil and olive oil jam, two innovative creations that present new ways of enjoying olive oil.
