Rémel is a small company, managed by Rafael Figueiredo, a young man who left civil engineering to dedicate himself to a great passion of his father and grandfather, beekeeping.
The mountain honey is characteristic of the highlands of the central mountain system. It has a strong, slightly acidic taste and a dense consistency. It is very dark in colour and has the distinctive aroma and taste of heather nectar. A genuine high-quality product, originating from mono-flowering heather, this honey is harvested in the most remote, high-altitude areas of the central mountain range. It is much appreciated from a gourmet point of view and for its nutritional value.
