GEOfood is an initiative for communities and environmental friendly food enterprises located within UNESCO Global Geoparks territories

The GEOfood brand defines the “quality” based on local traditions, ancient knowledge connected with peculiar Geopark´s geological and cultural heritage.

OUR STORY

The GEOfood established in 2015 has its routes within the UNESCO Global Geoparks values and principles of sustainability and holistic approach.

OUR VALUES

The GEOfood born as an answer to the worldwide agricultural and social challenges detected by United Nation within the Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG).

OUR MEMBERS

The GEOfood members are UNESCO Global Geoparks: each of them establish agreements with locl food producers and restaurants enterprises in the frame of GEOfood criteria and MANIFESTO.
