Tuukkala Farm is an old family farm from 1710 in Ristiina, in the Saimaa landscape. And in the farm, they are also offering bed and breakfast accommodation. The owner wants to give the guests an accommodation experience that will leave them feeling empowered and empowered to return to their everyday lives. The family farm is also passionate about local food, nature and traditions.
At Tuukkala Farm’s GEOfood breakfast, they offer the best products of the season, whose roots are deep in the soil of Saimaa region: fresh berries, fish, local baked goods, cold cuts, honey and eggs from their own chickens. The GEOfood collaboration is a tribute to the unique geology and nature of our region: highlighting the origin of our food while supporting the local community and sustainable development, and raising awareness of geological heritage among local people.
